Dan Genner/excel bike for sale

long44

Retro Newbie
Believed to be early 50’s Dan Genner lightweight road bike. This has belonged to my father since the mid 70’s. it all looks to be original except the deraileur...but I’m far from expert. It has been stored for a good decade or two, but though the paint is very faded there isnt any corrosion on the frame, and its all funtional.

I’m selling for my Dad, and am open to offers over £300

Welcome to the forum.

It may help your listing to take a number of photos to show the components fitted to the bike and to also take close ups of the frame lugs.

It will also help to have a list of what all the components are within the ad.

The cycle looks in good condition for it's age and looked after but you may struggle to realise your current offers over £300 without further photographs /parts list.

What could also help is to confirm the frame serial number as this could narrow down the age of the frame for prospective buyers.

In its current form you’ll be very lucky to get over 100 quid
