Could always try RX100 as they did a 2/3x7 setup too

Ebay or a bike jumble sale will be your friend! If they're sticky, take the hoods off and flush them out with degreaser/WD... The older shimano shifters I have found to be eternally complex and glued together preventing shifting hahaha
