Are these the long travel plates?
Sadly, the bike is a bit too big for me, and I'm wondering if I fit the stock plates, it'll drop the BB a tad.
Or, anyone suggest a of era saddle that's slimmer?

It looks like a non factory linkage bit (they were dark coloured and had cutouts, I don't now if there was a "long travel plate", just a how much travel do I want, I'll go make that then).

The goldtec plates were a little neater than those iirc, I'd guess they're a home made fix

Sadly if the saddle needs to be in that position for you to ride it, the bike is at least two frame sizes too big.
