What's a new current M970 XTR crank sell for? Guess this wasn;t so high after all when you consider vintage and new. I'd say it was a fair market rate.
it's a nice example of how the "market" works. until 1.5years or so ago jonesbikes on ebay sold these cranks NIB and NOS for $180. all sizes and literally tons of them over at least one year or more. before those flooded the market the prices were way higher. in the beginning some of those jonesbikes cranks sold on ebay for more to sellers who weren't aware or didn't know how to use the search function but soon that amount was the ceiling and some even went for less. used ones were really low.
didn't take long to generate new demand and i am pretty sure we will soon see more of them popping up. i know that many have a few sets stashed away... at least i do
