not really mate, i'd take what i paid for them, i'm not up for making money on them at all just changed my plans now i know they will not fit on my frame properly and want my money back. Was expecting offers to be honest. you never get full asking price for anything on forums.

Why won't they fit right? They should do.
The bike's original spec was Acera canti's and I've not heard of V's not fitting on a canti bike before. :?
Canti's are a bit before my specialist era though so maybe I'll be corrected by someone.
 
as the runners where the canti cables go will not accept the outer cable end that is needed to run V brakes, i'm sure it could be modified or bodged but i really don't want to do that, would rather stick with the cantis and get new levers...... shame as i would have loved the DXs on, always wanted a set when i was a kid....
