I've got an old vertical dropout frame that I've singlespeeded, but cannot get the chain tight enough, and my home made tensioner failed :LOL: It can't be BB or mech hanger mounted, which is proving to be a major hassle. Only suitable one I've found is the Gusset Bachelor, but I don't have the cash in Paypal at the moment :(

What have you?
 
i think the batchelor uses the mech hanger bolt and the qr, not just the qr...
will it be ok for you?

(i dont have one, just trying to save you wasting your money :) )
 
I do have the hanger, it's just completely stripped, and the hole isn't round anymore, could always stick a longer bolt in, and a nut+threadlock on the other side. Cheers for the tip :)
 
or hows about buying a chainguide roller and bolt and run that through the mech hanger?? :cool:
damn i just invented the neatest single speed tensioner ever!

I've got a Kore Chain Reactor in silver in good condition. It clamps on to the chainstay - don't know whether that would do the job for you?
