I have killed the shimano 105 headset on my Giant Escaper 1989. The problem is I will be covering 285miles in mid August when I do the C2C ride on the Giant. If anyone has a 1 inch threaded headset that also has a 27.0mm JIS fork race not the common 26.4 race I would be interested.
I would also like to keep the 1989 ish theme of the bike if possible.
