Hi for sale is the following. Any questions please ask below. If your interested in buying please pm me. No dibs please as I just get confused.

1) Italvega Frameset
The frame and forks have been powdercoated pink and replica decals applied. I clear coated over the decals. The paint is past its best and has been badly touched up by me. Last year I had mudguard eyelets brazed on. These and the cable eyelet on the chainstay are the only braze on's on the frame. The dropouts are Campagnolo and the hanger is still in place. The Frame is an early 70"s item hence the lack of braze ons. The lugs are nice long point ones and the fork crown is by Thompson and is a nice semi sloping design. The bike has its original headbadge and upper headset parts (Campagnolo Record). The lower race is brinneled and a bit notchy. I reckon it will last a bit more yet. The Frame has 120mm OLD dropout spacing and this combined with the lack of braze on's makes it a good candidate for a fixed gear machine. Seat tube C to C is 61cm and c to t is 63cm. Top tube is 585 mm c to c. Bottom bracket is Italian threaded and a Campagnolo Mirage item is in situ and is in good order. The seatpin size is 26.8mm and I have a 26.6mm Simplex item fitted with a coke can shim in place. Seat pin bolt is a Zeus item and crank bolts are included. I have included clip on top tube cable guides. A velo orange chain stay protector is in place. I would like £65 posted or £45 collected from Glasgow. Please see photos below and note only the frame, forks, headset, seatpin, seatpin bolt, bottom bracket, crank bolts and chainstay protecter are included in the sale; SOLD

2) Fior Frameset
Lovely Italian frame measuring 63cm centre to top (seat tube), 59.5cm centre to centre (top tube), 20.5cm top to bottom (head tube). It has an Italian bottom bracket, braze on brake cable guides, under bottom bracket and chainstay cable guides, rear mech hanger and bottle cage bosses. Bought this from Hilary Stone. It was originally red and blue with chrome stays and forks. I had it refinished by Atlantic Boulevard. It was painted pink with black lug lining. Atlantic Boulevard applied decals provided by myself. There are two Italian flag decals, a correct Columbus decal and a Campagnolo decal. I touched up various parts on the forks and stays where the chrome has worn and did the lining on the stays and forks. This frame comes with a Campagnolo Record headset in excellent condition, a seatpin bolt, Campagnolo bottom bracket in excellent condition, crank bolts, micro adjusters, Velocity bottle cage, bottle cage bolts, downtube cable adjusters and self adhesive chainstay and frame protector's. There are some areas where the paint has been touched up, an area of the seat tube has been done quite poorly due to the touch up paint detriorating. The paint has been marked and lifted where the front deraileur was fitted. Otherwise this is an excellent close clearance frame. Photos below. I would like £150 posted or £130 collected from Glasgow.

Re: Framesets and a Wheelset: Italvega, Fior, Goldtec, DT

Hi, I'm interested in the Italvega frame. Does it take recessed bolt brakes?

Is there any chance of a picture of the lugs?

Many thanks.

Re: Framesets and a Wheelset: Italvega, Fior, Goldtec, DT

Hi Dale

The front fork crown has been drilled to take a recessed brake. The rear brake bridge has not. You can see a close up of the lugs by hovering your mouse over the photo and clicking to enlarge them. Pic 2, 3 and 4 have details of the lugs.

Cheers

I'm loving the Fior but while I'm convincing myself it is too big i have a few questions.
What is the rear dropout spacing?
What thread is the BB?
What size seatpost?
Can you confirm the size, centre of BB to top of seat tube (just in case)?
And I can't find any info on Fior, any clues?

Hi Guy

Info below;

Rear OLD is 126mm
Italian BB
26.9 mm diameter seattube so should take a 26.8mm seatpost. Thats what I had fitted.
63 cm

No info on Fior, Its Italian for flower. Only seen one other on line. Hilary Stone thought it was made in the Guerciotti (spelling) factory and it has the star cut out in the bb shell just like Guerciotti's. But thats as much as I know.

Cheers

Trevor
