This picture was taken yesterday at Healey Nab, Chorley, Lancashire. The berm at the bottom of the picture is on the red route whilst behind the bike are several different black graded lines.
Yes, I thrash my precious classics on some fairly tough terrain. I hope they can be kept going for ever, or at least as long as I keep going!
I wouldn't really want a bike that can't be ridden like you would when it was new.
If you're interested in the Enduro World Series you might like to know that I sometimes meet U18 world champion Elliott Heap at Healey Nab. We've talked about my JW4. If it's good enough to practice for the EWS, it's good enough for me :D
 
I was out on the JW4 again yesterday. I had the fastest time this year on a Strava segment at 25 minutes dead, set on my Boardman. Then some young whippet had done 22 minutes 20 secs.
So I got the big guns out in the form of the JW4 and amazingly beat his time by one second! It's the last post on my blog if you'd like the whole exciting story.
