Rear wheel built and applying some beautiful custom decals from Gil. :) Very, very happy!

First trial fit. Just need pedals and a saddle now. So happy with this. Just need to finiah off, fettle and then take it all apart again for my daughter to build. :)

Bit late catching up on this, but such is life! So... here's the bike as far finished as I took it, and then disassembled ready for my 13 year old daughter to build.

(Was really chuffed with the saddle as well - looks sleek enough for the bike, but is nice and comfy to encourage her to keep riding (unlike the Selle Italia on my Zaskar which is like a sharpened concrete slab after half an hour)

Then yesterday (being my one %$^£&* day a week I get to see them in the holidays) I took the box of bits and frame over... and this is what my wonderful 13 year old daughter and I did. Most satisfying bit was fitting the front brakes when she said, 'oh! I understand how it works now'. And that's what it's all about! :)

And then, of course, we went off to the local forest for a ride. One very, very happy girl. And therefore one happy dad!

By the way - I've not posted any of her riding (or much of her) because I have a policy of not posting pics of my kids online - and never do it unless they're 100% happy with it. In this day and age peer bullying is far too common and over ridiculously stupid things - so limiting what I put here.
