Long time lurker and first time poster!
This is my 1999/2000 Club Roost Stinger. Bought the bike from my Dad, last Easter and have finally finished building it into a budget downhill hardtail. Frame was originally raw but covered in scratches so I resprayed and re-stickered (credit due to www.lambandcrook.com) who drew up the graphics for me for free!).
Purists will doubt be annoyed that the lack of retro parts (and original decals!) but I wanted to see how well an old frame which would otherwise be collecting cobwebs would ride. The answer is very well, it's quick and handles great.
If there's any interest in the spec I'll type it up. I'm looking forward to some drier weather as I can't bear to get it dirty yet, a lot of time and effort has gone into this!
Can't seem to add pics so links are here...
