Mongoose Amplifier frame, 1996 or something ...
Although the decals say 'Amplifier', it doesn't have the 'twin-tubes' but 1 flatted down tube. Does it make it an Amplifier II ?
Good overall condition.
The shock has been refilled with fresh oil and comes with a titanium spring.

Re: Mongoose Amplifier (AMP B3) frame

This is from the 1994 Catalog, can't see the down tube but it's pretty close.

Not the same frame. No gusset on top of top tube, no gusset above the down tube, and the 'double down tube' pictured here is thinner than the flattened tube on mine.
So far, I haven't been able to find another Amplifier similar to mine on google images. It is different from both Amplifier and Amplifier 2.
It just look like an AMP B3 with the Amplifier color scheme / decals. Maybe a late version of the Amplifier, just before the Amplifier 2 came out ..?

Re: Mongoose Amplifier (AMP B3) frame

What the heck, looks like they've slapped a Mavic ZAP derailleur on it for the catalogue! Haha, wonder how the cable routing through the seat stay tube is supposed to work out..
