For sale, my 1991 GT Zaskar frame. It's a 20" GT, so that's C-C and it's about 22.5" C-T
It has been painted metallic blue, which originally was obviously very well done, but the paint has got tatty. I stripped a little at one point to test how it would look, but decided to keep the blue longer. I should have more free time for awhile, so I may get on with stripping it further, though could have it repainted if I decide to keep it.
It is in good condition with no dents and minor chain suck. The original derailleur hanger threads were stripped when I got it, so I fitted a steel threaded insert which has worked perfectly the whole time I've ridden it (the yellow tape is prevent it falling out and getting lost while it is stripped). Come complete with the GT plastic cable guide and straddle wire for the u-brake.
It's taken me awhile to list this, because I realise how difficult it will be for me to find another good condition 20" 1991 Zaskar in the future, but I still need to reduce the number of bikes I am putting into storage. I may withdraw it, however, if I sell some other frames or relist it if I have time to strip the paint and polish it.
£90 posted for the frame. SOLD £110 posted to Hungary.
I have the original parts that came with the frameset:
1991 only 2x4 adjustable offset rigid fork
GT Flip Flop stem
GT alloy QR seat clamp and lever
GT/True Temper chromoly seat post
also:
GT Duraluminium 165g 5 degree bar
all of those are available extra by negotiation, but I won't sell any of them before the frame is sold, to give the buyer first option.
