Flexstems and Chicken Stix

Visited LBS (well, nearly local) today to get headset fitted and chap mentioned they had a stash of Flexstems and a pair of X-Lite Chicken Stix brake levers. Anyone interested in such things should get in touch with Mountain Mania, Didcot, Oxon on 01235 759366. No idea on prices.

Just ordered a NIB 1" stem. They still have 1.125 ally version for sale.

Ha! they will be the ones I tried to buy from the old raliegh dealers towards the top of didcot a year or so ago, I always suspected they were job lotted to mountain mania when they opened!

Incidently I dont like mountain mania, took my pace in to have a headset propperly pressed in, they quoted me £40 for the head set, £10 for the fitting, then when I came to collect asked me for £60.

I told them they could remove the headset again then....they let me have it at the original price.
