used to fit those when i was in the trade, used a normal shimano splined bb tool iirc. sold quite a few with no issues.
 
weird, sure we used shimano tools, we did use a raceface isis tool (internal spline like shimano) aswel but that fits shimano aswel
 
Discovered what the problem is...

Shimano made 2 types of BB tool. Why on earth?

The UN72 is deeper than the UN52. Same size, but one is deeper!
