Maybe Raleigh has got fed up of seeing these bikes coming onto the market completely confusing and misleading the potential buyer and have decided to offer an alternative option..

Aaaand back full circle

Wasn't there someone who did some of the TDF course on a modern chopper a few years ago?

"Aaaand back full circle"

Abso bloomin' lutely.

This thread seems to be nailed to the perch and is beginning to smell a bit rank like the last one.

I was genuinely excited at the prospect of an accurate replica.

I've seen how one of the frames built with vintage components can look fabulous.

I liked the mixte, re-imagining is something I think is underrated.

I didn't expect to read "throw my leg over a budgie".

I think they got it wrong. It looks like a cynical cash-in. Is there silver brazing visible in the bottom bracket area? Is it really 753 or a Reynolds licensing deal? What explains the weight?

Could they have produced a cheaper, affordable tribute? TIG welded double butted cromo and off brand retro components?

How might they do better with a Chopper MK2 50th tribute?

For those who prefer a horizontal top tube this is still available at a third of the price of a Ti40..
Size 57.
