I'm looking to refurbish a late 80s/early 90s ladies Mixte step through (preferably Dawes Galaxy) and would like to buy a bike that needs components replacing rather than starting from scratch with the frame/forks.
As for frame size, I'm looking at max 53cm as I'm 5'6". I'd like to refurbish the bike for daily commuting as well as longer touring rides at the weekend (so it would need to be able to accommodate a pannier).
