No chrome and 2800 grammes with forks and headset (60 cm) so could be correct
Seems a bit heavy?? Someone on here will have weighed theirs though I am sure. Waiting game!!

Or even - 'weighting game'?

Re:

A bit less than 2800g I would have thought but that is a big frame as you say. What is the SB number - in the 1000s, 2000s etc will do and what seat post diameter does it take?

Large frame would be 26.8mm seat post IIRC as they beefed up the tubes (smaller inside diameter) for the larger frames.

Re:

Here is is a very early time trial special 753 in a large size 59.5 cm c-t

http://www.ipernity.com/doc/286349/15709409

He gives the weight as frame: 1630 g and fork: 680 g so 2.3 kg rather than 2.8 kg. A SR headset, which would often be fitted to a frame like this, is only about 100 g or so, and you can double that for a Record steel headset.

A road race frame might have a bit more metal in it as this one takes a 27.0mm seat post, and so is the lighter guage of 753, but you're still looking at 300-400 g or so to hit 2800 g...
