Any information on my lugged carbon Basso?

Dear forum,

I have been looking allover the web for catalogues / informations on my Basso lugged carbon frame, unfortunately without finding anything useful yet. Does anyone know who might have built this beauty? I´ve compared it to at least ten different vintage carbon frame builders but wasn´t able to find further information or the same bike a second time.

Do you happen to have any info for me? Find pictures attached.

Thanks for your time!

well no not really i cant especially if youve already researched 10 already. all i can see at the mo is a well made lugged carbon frame so im interested in the lugs of tvt/look alan now whilst realising of course that it makes my trek 2300 look a bit bland :D .i would be interested in your findings and comparisons and deffinately with some photos please.

thanks kevin

Thanks for your reply, Kevin!

It would be too much to post all the pictures I´ve been looking at. What I can say already is that it´s no Vitus, Alan, TVT, Trek, Specialized Allez Epic, Giant, Kestrel or Centurion. Some of them got more than one lugged carbon frame but not one seems to have similar lugs at all.

Cheers

ok mate, i do like the seat post lug though. do you think basso could have used their own designer's and engineer's to make the lugs and either found a carbon tubing bonding specialist or used another firm[which is your original question :) and relates i suppose to where they got the tubes from.
never seen a lugged basso before great find !

Thanks for the replies, I still have not found any useful info on the history of my beautiful basso.

It seems like a very rare frame, not even the carbon fiber fanatics have seen the bike or any comparable seat cluster / lug construction before.

yeah, its kind of sad that 'basso' either don't know or can't be bothered to look into it for you.

Re:

They would charge me 20€ for looking up their catalogues - but I would get a 'birth certificate'. After all the months of research I really consider it...
