Hi everyone... I need some help about this particular Masi 3Volumetrica... Someone knows something about the year of the frameset? I don't think it's very old because of the derailleur cable stops located on the headtube... And finally don't know if I'm right but I hear that some frames are US built, not a bad thing but far away from the real thing, the italian ones... It's the case of this frame if the info is correct?
The complete bike is a frankstein, with mixed campy and shimano parts... Someone has ever see these drilled cranks? I see "Made in Italy" engraved on the inner chainring... The front derailleur is a campy one, but the rear and the shift/levers are shimano... Don't know about the wheels, if the hubs are campy or shimano neither the rims...
The final question... These particular ride worth USD1k as is? I'm thinking of search and put an complete classic campy gruppo if I'm going to buy it...
