I dropped my singlespeed off at Argos for a respray yesterday. All the way there I'd been debating whether to get it painted white and put the Jo Burt flowers on it. I was resisting because £110 is a lot to get a bike painted white (plus another £30 for the other work it needed) and I wouldn't be able to pick up the finished item, it'd still need work from me to finish.
I was all set to go white when I saw a tube resting on top of the colour palette - black with multi-colour sparkles. Even in the strip-lit workshop it was giving off a lot of light. So, as is always the way, I've asked for the frame to be sprayed in that - I think it's a bit retro
I'll be picking it up in a fortnight, expect to see a completed bike not long after that....
