Zefal lock n roll skewers any one used them?

Looked good until I read......

We recommend a strong tightening so that no one can make the quick-release revolve around its axis (thus unlocking the device).

......and that's only going to take a firm twist, unless you've remembered to close them 'clockwise' from the fork legs or rear stays, so you can't get it past them.

Think I'd go for the Trans-X Security skewers instead.

Dave.

I considered them, but they seemed too messy for me, something sure to go wrong, so I plumbed for the trans X ones, just have a weird spanner device on my key bunch now.

But a word of warning about that spanner device, the knurled screw for drawing the octagonal fixing into the skewer isn't captive, meaning if not watched, it can unscrew and fall out taking the octagonal drive fitting with it.

Best to glue in that octagonal bit of steel and then if the knurled
thumb screw goes awol, you can still remove the wheel and put it back.
