Hi,

Just wondered if anyone had any links, pictures or suggestions makes and models of Unusual and Quirky but Cool retro MTBs both susspension and rigid that I could look out for for my next retro build project.

I've just bought this:-

Mad, but brilliant. GT did some fantastic paint jobs in the 90s. And the cable routing is like an Escher painting.
Rides like a bike that knows exactly what it's doing too.

Some good suggestions there. I do like old GTs and that Muddy Fox is very interesting.

I also like:

Orange X1 - being an Orange fan anyway.
Nishiki - mad bolt on rear end and square tubes.
AMP frame and forks - not sure what the differences are between models yet.
Pace - love the square tubes but fancy something even more unusual.
Ibis Szasbo ot TiBow - wow

I might look out for a Muddy Fox, a Szasbo or an X1.

Any more ideas welcome
