Magura HS33 Brake Hose is busted!

I got a HS33 Raceline - the hose has broken by the lever. Is there anything I can do or is it dead??

Cut the host with a Stanley blade and trim what is left off the barb and refit to the hose. Check magura site for instructions for refit.
 
Carefully heat the remainder of the cable thats on the brass bit over a gas hob, then pluck it off with pliers whilst warm.

Still no sign of the hangers BTW, I fear we may have an MIA package :(

thats weird about the hangers - probably on the same plane the syncros stem i sent jez!! hope they turn up soon

how do i get olive back on then?
 
The only time Ive done it I again softened the tube with heat then jammed it on...its not pretty but its worked.
 
Probably best to go for a new olive, tis your brakes after all :)

Yes - you'll need a new olive, as the old one will be deformed anyway but you can re-use the barbed insert if you heat the old piece of hose to get it out.
