I was wondering about people thoughts on these bar ends, I was about to put a set of old onza bar ends on my non retro yeti arc (i miss bar ends) but in a big clean out of the garage realised i had soem hypre ends. Now these came on my Manitou along with a a hyper bar, but while stuffing about in the yard, put the bike down and teh bar end peeled open the bar... so never used them again... it was to be my DH bike anyway...
so, has anyone else have this happen? do they work with carbon bars, currently have an answer hyper lite carbon on it, but was going to use the onza's on an easton ea70, will these peel open from the internal clamp if i crash, or is that a mounting problem?
