Which was the higher up the food chain? I guess the 7's but MOMBAT says the 5's were lighter which was all important back then?

Either in reality, one was a short lever and one was a long lever version. Is or there about it was more he pull iirc.
Ss5 has a more expensive construction

Cheers mate, them' the ones! Still think the ss5 looks best. Saying that, I have m732 xt levers that look even better! Now to decide if a suntour or xt build is the way to go? :facepalm:
