My bikes have always been 19"(Large) but did buy 21"(Extra Large) to see if I found it more comfortable.
For me,the 19" definitely a bit easier to chuck around offroad but the 21" a bit more comfortable doing the distances on the road.
Love riding either size.

Centre to centre,all 90's bikes (Marin,Alpinestars,Specialized).Although the 21" is more modern geometry ('08 Stumpjumper) with a sloping top tube so is measured centre to top.
Reckon I could squeeze in to an 11 too.Got a couple of weddings coming up......

Im 6'3"
Centre to centre measurements
Seat tube - 20 1/2"
Top tube - 23 1/2"
I find this good for me though if i were to change anything i'd knock 1/2" off the top tube :?
Modern 27 1/2" or 29" wheel size suits us giants better. Makes things more in proportion.
