replacement mech hanger bolt for my Dawes Escape?

Hi, I've got a late 80's Dawes Escape that's been converted to single speed with a tensioner kit just like this one. Unfortunately the bolt that screws into the mech hanger is rounded so doesnt tighten up.

I've tried searching for a replacement bolt but it seems to be a very fine thread - I think it's M10x1mm that I'm after. Could anyone confirm this and if so, point me in the right direction for a replacement bolt? Many thanks

Re:

Thanks for the response, good to see it written down somewhere that the thread pitch is 1mm.

I have tried eBay and brought a m10 fine bolt but the pitch was 1.25mm and wouldnt fit. Aside from eBay I've contacted a couple of 'nuts & bolts'-type specialist suppliers but can't find an m10 button head allen bolt with 1mm pitch - it surely shouldn’t be that hard to find?!

Thanks Rampage, will give you a shout in the week.

I've got a backup solution lined up on eBay but ideally I'd like a button head type and about 15mm length (I think I'll need a fair few washers with the eBay link)

Half-term so I went to three bolt suppliers and non had any button head.
Found quite a good tool supplier too!

Re:

No worries, I had one last search myself and in the end just got the capscrew of eBay. No big deal but it's just annoying that the hanger doesnt use a more standard thread form.

Thanks for taking a look anyhow
