So here's my question: there is a slight variation in these 7 spd rapid-fire shifters that I've seen, from time to time; in that some sets come with one shifter that has a small phillips head screw in the center of the bottom plastic plate on the rear shifter pod (the front gear pod never has a screw there) ... whereas some sets are such that neither front nor rear shifter pods have that small phillips head screw down there ...
Anyone know why that tiny difference in design, when they are all the same model number ittems (or are they just screwing with my head)?
