Pennsylvania based Grove was founded by Bill Grove in 1986. Before starting with Grove, Bill designed and built legendary BMX equipment: Titron was his brand and fine ti/magnesium hubs and pedals came from Bill's drawing table.
Grove Innovations is highly regarded among connaisseurs for interesting innovations and an excellent build quality. Good examples are the radical X-frame, undestructical Hard Core, steel Hotrod crank/axle ensemble and the Hothead and Hammerhead bar/stem combos.
Distinctive are the flamboyant paintjobs. Not rarely a Grove came finished in a paint with many (fluo) colours and generous splitter-splatter. Again quality stood out: thick with mulitple clears for lasting deep bright shine.
