As title really :)

Frame must be 16" and preferably aqua, just like this beauty belonging to SEANSTEPHENS.

Will quite happily consider either a frame or a complete bike (I've seen the one on Pinkbike and I've already messaged the seller).

Thanks :D

Re: Zaskar - 16", Aqua. Frame or Bike.

The one on pinkbike sold months ago on ebay for £260. I was bidding on it, had some really nice kit as well. Good luck with the search and if i ever do decide to sell mine i will give you a shout

Yeah tell me bout it. Why not get a polished zaskar and have it anodised? Intrincycle by Rampage on here might be able to do it

Gotta love an aqua Zaskar :D

Good luck with the search, and it you do decide to go down the route of having a BB frame anodised I'd be interested to know how you get on.

Re: Zaskar - 16", Aqua. Frame or Bike.

I've just contacted Rampage about the possibility of having one anodised. My main concern would be whether or not I could get an exact colour match. It's a different shade to the standard blue anodised.

Turquoise shouldnt be too difficult right? Its quite a common colour for anodising. And yours may be the first to not have any fading

Anyway, i actually have a ball burnished 1994 zaskar LE 16" frame i could sell. Would be perfect for this

Let me know if your interested :D

Let us know what he says. I'd be interested in the logistics of having one done. Looking at the frames I have, I reckon you'd just need to remove the riv-nuts for the water bottle bosses.

As I understand it, the biggest issue wit anodising bike frames (after the size) is that often the welds don't take the colour as well as the rest of the frame, but clearly GT anodised Zaskars and the colour is pretty much spot on. I wouldn't have thought they'd have used different rods for welding the frames that were going to be anodised so it should certainly be possible.
