Goddamit - did they ever make a bad record? Right up to the last "What happened to the fambly cat", they were just fantastic. But all good thing pass.
Jason's first solo was disappointing.
Admiral Radley is better.
Dark night of the soul is well worth buying.

Grandaddy were a very fine blend of musicians who pushed the right buttons in the right order 8)

One of the bands I'm annoyed I never saw.

I keep coming back to 'Under the Western Freeway', for a long time I preferred 'Sophtware Slump', possibly because it was the album that got me into them. 'Fambly Cat' just made me a bit sad. 'Now It's On' just makes me happy every time I hear it.

Sounds like I shall have to track down a copy of Dark Night of the Soul too.
