Slightly off topic, but with relevance to a couple of earlier posts - I 'think' that as coincidence would have it early Ritchey bikes were imported / sold by Rocky Mountain in Canada.

Essentially what I'm saying, is that the flippant remark about RM actually inadvertently has some connection from an historical context - even if the OP did not intend it...

I was riding my brother's Ritchey off one of the local ferries one day and a fellow riding past me asked how I liked it. I said I loved it. He told me that they (Rocky Mountain) built the model I was riding. I can't remember the name of the model (grey with yellow high lights) , but it was the equivalent of the 88 Rocky Fusion I bought the following season.
