location of the frame is "Nebikon, Schweiz" (Switzerland).
the article description notes that rust is in the rears too. bad shape asf.
would love to see such a frame back alive but i highly doubt that its possible...

its funny how fat chance have such a bad rep for rust, when older yetis were also fully sealed tubes. despite early fros & ultimates being around the 6lb weight, with pretty thick 4130 tubes some still managed to rust through... in most cases water down the seattube pools at the bottom bracket & slowly rusts through.. assuming the rest of the frame is okay (slimjoe I believe had a yeti rust through on the chainstay) replacing the seatube & it would be ok.

Two piece rear end? Press fit BB?

WTF??

Never inspected a Pro that closely, but didn't it get the revised "two piece" rear to aid mud clearance over the FRO at the chainstay / bb joint?

..and I'm sure I can see a couple of threads on that BB shell.

I'm certain some Pro FROs had the one piece stays, I've just never seen the two-piece ones.

You might be right about those BB threads too.

Babelfish translation doesn't read like good news anyways..

Hahaha funny that Tange in German means Seaweeds tho

Broken Yeti pro Fro framework of which already for a long time does not lie about I wants it to no more, perhaps another.

The framework is 47 cm highly (approx.. 18.5 tariff) and do not have Baeulen, steuerrohr are 1 1/4". The condition is bad and it has rust. If one it in air turns hears one like the rust in the chain prop into the seat brace moves and in reverse.

The Tretlagergewinde is however verbaeult also rusty. The worst is however approx.. 2 cm long tear in the bridge pipe equal above the Tretlagers (Pic 3). From all Stickern only at the steuerrohr remaining remained. More exact data over the frameworks such as year of construction and so I can not make there I it not white. The framework No. reads however 3333 if helps, it must class 93/94 about in such a way have. The framework is out seaweeds steel.

Shame, nice frame..
