yeti, fat chance frame project

Dirt Disciple
Looking for a old yeti, fat chance frame ...fro, ultimate, arc, yo, shock a billy
This is for an interesting project so condition really not important as I will be 'adjusting' so broken is fine
Or if its in good nick I may still be interested too!!!

I'm selling a 94, medium, metallic charcoal, Yo with Igleheart forks, Mavic 315 headset and American Classic seat post. It also has the frame number card.
It's advertised on the Facebook vintage mtb trading page for £700 posted in the UK.

Where do you live? Pics are easier to email because I'm working from an iPad.

Hi Pat
Lovely bike especially looks good with the ringle holey stem!
Its at the top of my pricing for a frame fork combo
I am looking to do something a quite bit different here and not sure if i want to 'change' such a good looking example

No worries. It is too nice to me messed around with.

I loved the stem, but when I decided to sell the frame I didn't have anything else to use it on, so I sold it last week.

What plans do you have for the frame? I have a Whiskeytown Racer that will need a new seat tube due to corrosion in the future, but for now it's not terminal.

Well, looking to build up a single speed, possible belt drive, fixie/coaster so no cables!!!
I'm sure I will be scorned upon here but hey ho.
Last build for me and will probably end up as a wall hanger when past it, So off with all cable mounts etc!!!
Having owned a fully tricked up ARC AS from new for 15 years, I still hanker for the Yeti/Fat retro frames and ringle/king parts but without the messy drivetrain and cabling. simple.

That sounds pretty cool. I wouldn't like to see a nice frame modified like that, but if it needs some repair work anyway, then I say go for it!

Re:

I might have a Large Fat Wicked frame available in the near future if it suits? It's in good shape generally with no rot, but has rough paint, some small dents in the chain stay and loose bottle cage bolts from memory . The press in BB is in perfect condition and bearings are nice and smooth. It would probably be ideal for your little project...

I was thinking that £200 posted would cover it? Let me know if you're interested and I'll PM some pics over :)

Re:

Sounds interesting, but def a wicked and not just a fat?
Definitely send me some pics please
