The thing in the pots looking a bit meengy...... on the plus side though thats a lovely wall.

Thats a baby acer...leave it alone you bully.

Acer palmatum I think - but he's right, it does look a bit nutrient deficient - get some slow release in there!!

Crocosmia Lucifer too = yummy - would look better if the fence was painted black

Its a Acer palmatun disectum species of tree, not sure of the cultivar, its a grafted plant from a dutch nursery, looks fine for food, but has dried out at some time in the last few weeks and is showing signs of stress, (Shameless plug If you want a real tree come and see me at work - www.premiertrees.co.uk) get it planted and all will be well, not to keen on direct sunlight so plant in dappled shade for best results.

TGR - could you supply Castanea sativa whips mail order in the autumn? Probably around 50? Want to create small coppice in garden, eventually :D

No problem on the whips PM me you e-mail and Ill send you off a price, and don't plant a rose, whilst very nice they do need a lot of care to do well. look at somthing a little more interesting, if you wannt ideas let me know I will send you a few....

I agree ... leave the Acer alone, admittedly it could do with a soak in a bucket of water for about 15mins about once a week while it's in a pot and very regular watering (they hate drying out!), but apart from that ... it looks fine!! (Maybe a few drops of BabyBio or tomato feed would give it a help-along), but if those Crocosmia in the background are Lucifer ... then ... well, I'm not going into details!! Lol!!

Any chance you could post a pic of just the Crocosmia that's behind your future shed? (Yes, I know, I'm falling into my role as the Bunny Guinness of Retrobike!! Lol!! )

So who's gonna be the Bob Flowerdew, Alan Titchmarsh and John Cushnie of RB then?! 8)

Hope your "man-cave" gets finished soon, and that you manage to fill it before the rest of the family does!! Lol!!

Lx

Go on then how long before you trade it in for a custom made model from Europe......

And I expect to see Titanium door furniture.....

Will you be single locking it or going for a 9 lock set up?

My man cave was delivered today, a 14x8 monster pent, which means my good lady has now allowed me to buy bike bits again! Nice!
So Mr. Burgundy, would you like a green roof on it, you seem a man of immaculate taste after all....

I spotted you a while ago on the non-retrobike resources post, have you got a website I could take a look at or a brochure you could send me? Ma's on about rebuilding her garage at some point and having a green roof put on it!!

I hope you are putting a green-roof on your own man-cave!!
