Yes, bumping an old thread with more info and questions because this is doing my head in :facepalm:
I've been looking on the Edd spoke calculator (
http://leonard.io/edd/) and seeing differences on hub specs.
Looks like hub flange diameters are all the same, but there are differences in the specified
rear flange to center distances. This could be down to measurement errors, differences in
130mm or 135mm OLN measurements and I'm assuming differences in 7 speed (30.5mm freehub
lenght) or 8 speed (34.5mm freehub length) but don't know for sure.
Does anyone know for fact that a M900 hub (8 speed, 135 OLN) can be replaced with a
parallex type (8 speed, 135 OLN) rear hub like XT M737, LX M565, STX-RC MC38 or even
newer XT M750, LX M570 etc. without the need of getting different spokes :?:
Same goes for the front too, but it looks like these are all the same specs since year 1 to now,
but again if someone could confirm this it would be appreciated.
