Hi All,

Original post here- viewtopic.php?f=2&t=308681

I bought this MTB in 1995, and it has been well kept and maintained over the years. the full spec is-
Frame - 20" Extralight Katarga Frame
Wheels - Araya RM-400-Pro rims, Shimano XTR Hubs (Front and rear)
KAlloy UNO Seat post, head set and bars
Shimano Deore XT caged pedals
Crank - Shimano XTR M900 170
Front Mech - XTR M901
Rear Mech - XTR M900
Front and rear Brakes lever (Inc. thumb shifters) XTR M900. Both in full working order.

The tyres are the originals, Ritchey ZMax, so goes to show the mileage on the bike.
The frame has a few scratches, but this is more likely due to the house moves the bike has followed me on as it has never been crashed.

All up the complete bike weighs 11.5 Kgs.

Be interested to know if it is worth more broken down, or as a complete bike.

Cheers,

JD

Re:

Hello,
I would have thought broken down. For reference, as a full bike, a more attractive (IMO) Marin with a less used full and similar m900 spec (actually, there were a pair) went for £600 to my recollection, and not immediately either. So you'd be looking at quite a bit less for these.
Split, the groupset part prices can be found reasonably easily on here. Depends on exact condition, but all the numbers are out there.
I expect there's £350 to £400 in parts there...
Hope that's some help
Mat

Cheers Mat,
May have sold complete for 350, so spot on with the guess. May have got a bit more if I had broken down, but not worth the effort for another couple of pounds.
