XT Thumbies

Hi guys,
Just taken delivery of a set of M732 XT Thumbshifters that I won't be using,so might as well move them on.

Not cosmetically perfect,discs are bit battered,mechanically ok but right hand one has play which would probably be ok once cabled. Clamps are good and have retro-fitted allen nuts.

I'm telling you all this so I'm honest from the start,these would probably better suit your pub-bike and the price reflects that,I'm only asking what I paid and that was £25 posted. If you're one of these chaps that can renovate then these are a dream but I'm being brutally honest from the start.

a bit wary of play you mention and as I have have never owned one, wonder if it can be tuned or rejuvenated by opening it :?:

It's odd as soon as I flick them into friction mode it tightens them right up? Maybe someone else can shed some light on this,I know there was a thread detailing how to strip and refurb them?

P.s. I'll shut up now as this reply may be misconstrued as a bump,the same goes for my earlier link. Not wanting to upset anybody here,sorry all.

They shouldnt be, I paid for them, though not seen them yet thinking about it!
