$583 + $50 to ship... that sounds about right for a clean Wicked. A bit more than I recently got my '90 for.

Nice win, to whomever got it.

 guess I called this one...every dog has its day

We arranged a all in shippingprice to Holland. Put all my savings in it.
And today I received my money back with the note:

"I am very sorry but, I will be refunding you your full amount due to unforeseen shipping problems and prices. Once again, Very sorry"

Big shit, I really really liked this one!

You mean the last Wicked? Sold it (with every bike except the Attitude) cause I needed funds for my college, new house and non paid job. So this was my chance to get a new Wicked :-)

sorry to hear it. Yes, shipping an entire bike abroad is more trouble than many would like to go through. I'm in the process of shipping an entire Yo to the land down under...due to shipping restrictions, it's a bit more of a pain than anticipated.

Ah, now I understand why you after many PMs and finally agreeing to buy my Yo you then decided against at the weekend due to having to pay household bills.

Sorry to hear that you didn't get the Wicked

Ed, pm-ed you.

Yes indeed shipping a complete bike is expensive. The seller said it would be around 100 USd and he would refund me the difference. I came back to it and told hem that was very very cheap for shipping a complete bike. He came back to me and we made a deal which I thought was more believable. The auction ended and he didnt want to ship because UPS charged allmost 500 USd. Think he didnt want any trouble at all and cancelled it. Sorry for me but shit happens.

That's too bad! I will concur that shipping US to Europe sucks.

I shipped a track frame w/some parts to France via USPS and it was nearly $80!

Yes, UPS is a no no for shipping international. Multiple box shipment via USPS is the way to go.
