No worries, Ive never converted, never broken a set of 26.8, think theyll go the same way as 1.5" steerers eventually, marketing !

normal mtb bars are 25.4mm. oversize is 31.8mm. companies like thomson dont have future plans for stems like the X4 in 25.4mm as 31.8mm is expected to become the norm.. purely FYI

Cheers scant, ill stick to my 25.4's then, think 31.8 are ugly and heavier. Do they plan on not tapering the bars and making big grips for big hands once we evolve more. Too old to change now, Thompson wont get me, not at that price, not at any price.
