Ww2 plane art and liveries

What about

Rather than ruin It with a paint job and not be able to sell it on later

Why not get a design done then get the car wrapped with it

why not tell kaiser?

the car cost £200 - it is approaching the end of its life (rear arches are going) to giot the biody straight enough to wrap will cost loads, plus wrapping is expensive.

at a very very rough guess i think it would cost £600 to sort the body and wrap it. i'd rather lose £200 than spend 6 (plus)

also, i think wrapping is a major cop out. there's a really cool camo tt that was the talking point of all the vw shows a few years ago "wow he must have balls to camo his tt". not really, when you can just peel it off. its a cop out on a par wath hydraulics and air ride (sorry al! )

Wife wants to camo the truck.. she's been threatening to do it for a couple of years..

That Stuka is cool.. make sure you post pics if you get it sorted lewis 8)

will do. starting tonight. got to fit an ecu in a mate's car then drive to doncaster to collect a bargain VR6 interior then cracking on. having a club meet tomorrow so want it looking cool. Might not get it all done but got to try.

here's a link to a build thread with some pics twards the end

may seem odd but at 127 devonport road in plymouth (google it)

there is a vr6 in a garage which has been there for years (4+)
doesnt look too bad but you never know!
has moss like dust stuff on the roof but looks fine otherwise
not sure if its still there
maybe worth looking into?

dont those German planes look brutal? next to them a Spitfire looks sleek and elegant.

well,i know they(Spitfires) are elegant planes but the FW's and ME's look evil.

some of the jap bombers look scary too.

vr6's are cool. rough ones on the road can be picked up for less than £500 nowardays. good cars for the money (if you can afford the fuel!)

thinking of a conversion in the next few years.

but then for not a lot more you can have a 20 valve turbo. swap the turbo and tweak the mapping and you are looking at 300 ponies (admittedly through the wrong wheels but an LSD helps)

thanks for all the input thus far.

thinking now that the RAF side is likely to be painted up like my grandad's Liberator that he served in Africa with. It had the silouette of a cockerill and the works "Cock o' the North' as all the crew were from the north of england

also for a mad half hour we considered replicating maveric and goose's f14 from top gun!
