WTD: Shimano M730 / Deore XT - Front Hub Axle & Cones

Used axle and cones/nuts required to replace a snapped axle that was wrong for the hub in any event!

Is the hub good? I'd feel bad to desecrate a perfectly good hub just to get the axle out of it!

It's OK I think, I'll never build it up, nothing wrong with making a serviceable one from two, I'll take a few snaps tomorrow night if you want, PM me.

PM sent - would still ideally like to find just the axle or a damaged hub that can be scavenged for parts... Don't want to strip a perfectly good/serviceable/working hub if at all possible - it would be sacrilegious!

Good luck with that.. I doubt you'll find a damaged hub with a good axle and cones

Ive made a kind of necklace out of all the perfectly good axles that i have stripped, it hangs on the wall in the workshop.

The hubs just don't brake, only the cones and axles give out..

I would take that offer from Vinevo..
