What wheels you building up T?

Same rear hub as the lighter versions out there are far to expensive. But change front hub to either Tune or extralight.

and these rims but only r2 bikes seem to be only people who sell the V brake version.

Save me 3 oz rims & 2 oz for the hub and lighter spokes with a rider limit of 75kg.

Looks like Sunn Ringle are the only other makers of sub 400 g V rims

Search goes on

All the 355 rims are good for rim brakes, though stans did do a machined sidewall which they called ABT. You can even use the white ones if you sand the paint off the rim wall.

They're geat rims and work perfectly tubelessly (think of the weight savings).

:D Really. Merlin said disc rim. But r2 have a picture with side walls.

You are 100% certain. If i buy i can use with V's?

I'm confused   Weight weenie needs to lay down
Thanks wynne

I am 100% certain that you can use Stans 355 rims with rim brakes. The black ones work best but the white ones can also be used if you can bothered sanding the paint off the walls.

I am using a pair of black 355s on my rigid mountain bikes with XTR vs.
I am using a pair of black 29er 355s on my road bike and a white pair on my cross bike. I am completely and utterly certain that they will be fine. I'd take pictures but I've had my camera nicked.

I've this on my Plexus (front disc, rear v-brake with the same rims)
