Yo, In my endless quest to stop having one night stands I think I've decided to go back to where it all began and find myself a (non-retro) GT. Maybe its the memories of the yellow and blue team kit, maybe its the way that my old bikes made me feel like Hans Rey and Peaty, whatever the reason I know my heart rests with the big GT, and not with the Intense that I'm currently pedalling (this is so much more a heart over head matter, as I'm sure the 5.5 is a better frame in every way...)
So here I am, I'm looking to meet a middle aged (think 2004 onwards) GT frame in small or medium (not too keen on the larger lass), for biggish hits, fun in the mud, and minimal uphill humping. I'm willing to spend money or swap a 2006 Intense 5.5 (size small, DHX rear shock, new bearings and top shoulder pivot 2 months ago) Ideally I'm looking for a distortion / sanction / ruckus kinda thing, unfortunately LTS are out of the picture as I cant be trusted with the older ladies.
Please help me find a cure for my wandering eyes, and help me to finally settle down.
