Many Alec Bird frames were actually made by Philbrooks, of Gillingham, Kent, if Birds coudln't keep up with demand.
I had a 1975 Philbrook, beautifully crafted in Aircraft tubing and lugless til a thieving git in Leds got his hands on it!
