Stop well in the dry, in fact incredibly well, a bit grippy at times though pretty much like the Scotts in that respect, though these will stop the wheel quicker. Though ignore any other weather as they don't do much but skim over the water and the rim. At least on the setups I used.
They do have the vital flaw of having brake studs made from cheese and they bent very easily.
My BackFromTheDay pair I still have are bent (of course) hardly worn and they did take some punishment.
Used in my M900 setup (Araya 395 and Mavic 230 rims).
The only worse pad I used in the wet was Madison Aztex pads, they where increadibly bad in the wet. I used/tested lots of different types pads, mainly as it was a Physics project
If like with Scotts, you can cope with the grippy/grabby nature of them then go for them, I prefer the slightly easier to control pads form others. Which is why you don't tend to see pads like these now other than I think what look similar in BMX/Trials types (their clear pads ?)
iirc they where a good weight weenie pad though.
