The old joke here is the requirement for Canadian citizenship is to be able to drive a manual with a pair of Sorels on.

remember those in american winters.

i have some gore xcr range topper 3 way stretch overshoes for mtb that have kevlar reinforced under sides etc and have lasted well.

but ui have decided i hate the feel of overshoes. i'd rather have waterproof socks or quick drying and warm ones and weather it out. they just feel so claustrophobic and get soooo warm (here in the UK) .

they look a bit like kentish winters as well.

I completly blew the budget and bought some from aldi this morning. came with a hat thing to go between my bonce an lid.
ok so thay are cheap...............

got a pair of cycling shoes as well for £19.99. Are sidi a good make ?

I thought your winter shoes were your summer shoes with duck tape ?

well now you mention it, yes, summer shoes + Duck tape. Sort of works.

er, those that were on the inaugural North Downs ride will perhaps remember that i did inded start the ride in sealskinz and finish it in summer nike socks.
