We enjoyed some good weather this summer, now the drops are falling from the sky and before you know it is already autumn and winter.

Offering beautifull 'golden' example of Gazelle's all season roadframe: the Champion Mondial A-frame

The 1981 A-frame is built using Reynolds 531c for frame and fork. Lugs are supplied by Bocama and drop outs come from Campagnolo. The A-frame comes with a full race ready geometry, but the unique feature of the A-frame is that it is ready for fenders and to take tyres with a considerable width.

Due to the 'all season' characteristics, the A-frame was even the choice of many TI Raleigh team members for their winter training sessions back in the day.

Handmade in Holland by Gazelle's small race frame department.

Condition:
Used, but very nice. Nice gloss paint with a couple marks. Structurally 100%. Looks and rides beautifully.

I had two of these in the 1980s, best winter frames I ever had. IIRC, used by the Panasonic team in the days of Peter Post and Jan Raas.
