why you should never buy a bike from a toyshop

Maybe the guys who made the original Asda advert had seen this first!

Absolute numpties!

That's brilliant- here I've been spaffing up over a grand and more on bikes when ye can get them for less than a hundred quid!! What I sucker I must be!

*puts all bikes up on ebay, runs off to order new ones from Toys R Us*

:P

Have you noticed the forks? They are a Pace tribute

I suspect you guys already know this, but I get customers coming to me for 22" tyres & wheels. WTF? I ask - it seems that Crap R Us actually sell kid's bikes with 22" wheels. Nobody thinks to tell the poor punters that buy them that they can't get replacement wheels or even tyres when they need them.

Our worst nightmare is the poor punter that brings us a T R U or Asda/ Argos/ Tesco 70 squid bike & wants it setting up properly! They are simply not capable of being set up for longer that 10 mins at a time.

I disagree with Back2Bikes...

It's dead easy to set up an Asda bike.

Now that's a good solution. Sadly, paying customers are not impressed.

I might make a poster of that for the workshop.

Thanks for the heads up, just got the ladies version for the missus!

Can't believe they can do all that for a ton! 8)
